Supervisor Peter Dolan announced that “the Lucky” has been paved in preparation for the Skate Park, which is due to be installed on Wednesday. It will be open for use approximately 2 weeks after the installation.

If there is any money left when they are done, it will be returned to the developer.

An organization in New Jersey has requested permission to hold a Bicycle Event on Long Meadow Rd on August 2. Chief of Police Daniel J. Carlin pointed out that August 2 is also the opening day of the Renaissance Faire. The Board decided to ask the organization to start their event at 7:30 am (a half hour earlier than requested,) so they can be finished by 11 am.

In other business, Councilman Darling proposed a new law which states that no person can be a member of two Boards at the same time. Attorney Don Nichols will draft the law, which will be presented for public comment on June 23.
