Town Board Meeting, August 27, 2007

The Town Board met on Monday, August 27 at 7:30 pm.

The first item on the agenda was the approval of several vouchers for payment.

During the second part of the meeting, the Board resolved to issue Special Sign Permits to Masker Orchards of Warwick for the posting of several directional signs, which will be posted at various locations throughout town commencing August 31 and ending no later than November 30th.

Additionally, a Special Permit was granted to the Tuxedo Parent/Teacher Organization to conduct a back-so-school carnival on Circle Field on Friday, September 14, 2007. The permit is conditional upon the PTO obtaining liability insurance coverage, which names the Town of Tuxedo as an additional insured, and producing a Certificate of Insurance to the Town of Tuxedo at least 10 days prior to the carnival. The PTO must also contact the Tuxedo Chief of Police for safety and traffic control considerations and also specify to the Supervisor and the Chief of Police the areas intended to be utilized for vehicle parking.
