I wish to applaud our Board of Trustees for allowing audience participation at their meetings without the need of a sign-in sheet or a formal podium. Commenting freely from one’s seat can be far more conducive to a relaxed and productive dialog. In addition, communication is certainly more practical and democratic now that residents may direct their statements to the entire Board, or to an individual Trustee, rather than to the Mayor alone.

I thank each Trustee for helping renew a spirit of community and camaraderie during Village Board Meetings.

Sincerely yours,

Peter J. Regna
