Greenwood Lake and Warwick set to vote on Future of High School Students | December 3, 2007

On December 12, 2007 voters in Greenwood Lake and Warwick will decide if high school students from Greenwood Lake will continue to attend George F Baker High School in Tuxedo or if they will attend school in the Town of Warwick instead. The impacts of this decision will have a lasting effect on our community in terms of the future of our school district.  On October 24, 2007, The Tuxedo Union Free School District Board along with school Superintendent Zanetti held an open forum for the community located at Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood Lake.  A copy of their Power Point presentation can be downloaded HERE.  Mayor Stebbins and School Board President, Jim Hickey are working together in an effort to arrange a similar forum for our community.  It is crucial that residents in the Village educate themselves on this very important issue, the outcome of which will affect our community for years to come.
