The Town Board met Monday, September 24 2007.
Councilperson Rauch was not present.
Supervisor Dolan reported that work is progressing on the Train Station
and they have poured some concrete. Also, the concrete has been poured
for the Pavilion at the Eagle Valley Ball field. Plans are for the
Powerhouse field to be cleared and leveled. Perfect Cut will supply a
layer of dirt for the leveling and the field should be ready for
seeding by mid-October and we should have a soccer field ready by next
Spring.
The Board voted to extend the present Development Moratorium through
October 10, 2007. It is expected that at the October meeting it will be
extended once more until January 10, 2008. The Town is in the process
of rewriting the Comprehensive Master Plan and hopes to have this ready
by January at which point the Moratorium will be lifted.
Greg Stevens was unanimously reappointed Town Assessor for another 6 years. His term now runs through 2013.
In other business, the Board appointed another part time Police
Dispatcher and voted to surplus some inoperable office equipment.
